Product Warranty
These warranty terms apply only to products purchased online through our website or in person from Garden Rooms of Cheshire, including outdoor living products, furniture, pergolas, BBQs and accessories. They do not apply to bespoke garden room design, supply or construction projects, which are covered by their own separate warranty documentation provided as part of your contract.
5 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty
Selected products are supplied with a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, abuse or accidental damage.
- Damage resulting from incorrect installation, modification or unauthorised repairs.
- Damage caused by extreme weather, flooding, fire or other events beyond our reasonable control.
- Cosmetic changes, including natural ageing, weathering, fading or colour variation that occur over time.
- Damage resulting from failure to follow the product’s care, maintenance or assembly instructions.
The warranty is provided to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Deliveries
Please inspect your order carefully upon delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, you must notify Garden Rooms of Cheshire within 14 days of the delivery date. Where appropriate, we will repair, replace or provide the correct item at our discretion.
Claims relating to transit damage or visible defects reported more than 14 days after delivery may not be accepted and will not be covered under the product warranty.
To help us process your claim quickly, we may ask you to provide photographs of the damage, the packaging and the affected product.
Making a Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team and provide:
- Your order number.
- Proof of purchase.
- A clear description of the fault.
- Photographs or videos of the issue where applicable.
Once we have received your claim, we will assess the information provided and advise you of the next steps as quickly as possible. Where necessary, we may request additional information or arrange an inspection before confirming the appropriate resolution.
Warranty Exclusions
Our warranties do not cover products that have been used for commercial purposes unless specifically stated, or defects arising from:
- Improper use or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Lack of reasonable care or maintenance.
- Unauthorised alterations or repairs.
- Fair wear and tear or cosmetic deterioration that does not affect the product’s functionality.
Your Consumer Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If your goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you may have additional legal rights that remain unaffected by this warranty.
